That's not bad advice...Hey Mr. Bovineoverlord,

That's not bad advice at all. I do enjoy the ASF sword however but perhaps I can get out of my "Must always take the Steel Claws" habit. I have these perceptions for the army that are both good and bad that are seriously screwing with my ability to just throw out a list I'm happy with. I think it's because I've played Eldar and Wood Elves for too long and I'm not used to an army that isn't "good" at everything.

I went through great pains to get the limited edition Wargor BSB model and it's hard not to use it in a list =). I also really want to ensure I have a Wargor/Beastlord and a Gorebull/Doombull in list. It's one of those must have both things. I can't really rationalize it other than I like the models so much.

I have this nagging thought whenever I put a list together involving Beastmen that I'm forgetting something important and I can't shake it. I really, really want to be strong in all phases of the game but unless I field Ungor Raiders and blow points for a Hunting Spear I don't think I'm going to reach that goal.

I'll tell ya what however, when I finally peg down a list that I'm happy with - look out!Sylvoshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12781475740747996992noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9092308036641842823.post-53515770132046349752011-01-11T13:09:07.161-08:002011-01-11T13:09:07.161-08:00Wow, you've certainly amassed a lot of models ...Wow, you've certainly amassed a lot of models for a new army. I'd love to hear how you get on with any of these lists.

In the first list, you could cut down on the points spent in characters by removing the Beastlord and making the Great Bray Shaman your general. If the lower leadership bothers you then you can always trade the Bestigors up to the Standard of Discipline and put him in there.

Another option for the Gorebull BSB in the first list could be to put the Beserker Sword on him so that he (and any accompanying Minotaurs) never lose frenzy even if you get unlucky in one combat round.

Is there a reason why you always have the BSB as the 'other race' from the general?

Good luck.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
